Job Description

As the Group Sales Coordinator, you will support the Group Sales Managers and act as liaison between the client and the Resort departments procuring all arrangements prior to arrival.

As the Group Sales Coordinator, you will: 

  • Process the contract, distribute to the client and create file for the office.
  • Update the GRC as the contract progresses.
  • Procures appropriate signatures on the contract and copy all affected (Client, Sales file, Inventory, Call Center).
  • Coordinates billing and payment process with the client.
  • Partners with internal customers to coordinate all aspects of the group.
  • Maintains tax exempt form and copies to all applicable areas. (if required)
  • Completes banquet requests and processes through the company.
  • Receives rooming list and inputs into the resort systems.
  • Distributes the group resume to the Resort property.
  • Assist the Sales Managers with the pre-con with the client and resort staff.
  • Follow up with the resort day of arrival for the group.
  • Coordinates with the Food & Beverage department for set-up of the banquets.
  • Produces recap report of the groups stay and places in the file.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Two-year certificate from college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Requirements:

  • Intermediate level Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Proficient organizational skills
