Job Description

Lead and champion the reporting and analysis function for database marketing, slots, table games, poker and race & sports.  Support the VP of Casino, VP of Casino Marketing and the Director of Slots.  Provide key insights and recommendations for each division based on performance and a competitive review.

Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information while complying with all Company rules and regulations required. Other job-related duties as assigned.

Role and Responsibilities: (Includes but is not limited to the following)

  1. Lead and develops Pro Formas and Post-Mortems for casino promotions and events,
  2. Conduct ad hoc analysis as requested by leadership
  3. Forecast impact of casino programs and promotions to the Casino P&L
  4. Lead the marketing and casino reporting effort, both report development and distribution
  5. In depth analysis of digital and email marketing efforts including cost per click thru & cost per conversion/acquisition
  6. Analyze database reports for player reinvestment, player profitability, identify trends and makes recommendations
  7. Lead the monthly Casino/Marketing analytics review meeting
  8. Lead competitor marketing research effort
  9. Coordinate with leadership on long-term strategic planning
  10. Work with Surveillance and casino team to ensure guest compliance
  11. Participate in the budget and budget review process for all casino functional areas
  12. Establish best practices and policies for the gathering, manipulation and presentation of standardized reports and analytics
  13. Offer support to the Director of Database Marketing, including player list pulls and offer builds
  14. Assistance in casino events and promotions
  15. Continue education and self-development through cross-training within the department and into other functional areas

Qualifications

Performance Requirements: (Knowledge, skills and abilities)

Excellent computer skills and proficiency in programs including: Excel, Word and BI Tools such Tableau and/or Cognos.  General understanding of lifecycle marketing and the customer journey.  Strong presentation skills.

Experience  Requirements

2+ years previous experience in marketing and/or casino/slot analytics.  Preferably in a casino or hospitality environment.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Math, Finance, Economics or Marketing.

Desirables:

Proficiency in casino programs CMS such as ACSC.  Viz Explorer, Bally BI and PowerPoint a plus.  Strong passion to learn and drive continuous improvement.
