Calling all General Maintenances. How would you like to go to work at the beach every day? Lead the culinary team at the historic Cocoa Beach Pier where island living, breathtaking ocean views, incredible views of space launches and fresh creative cuisine are the perfect fit for a new lifestyle in the new year. This position is the driving force behind delighting guests with a variety of fresh seafood and other specialties.

Oversee the best of the best in beachfront dining in a multi outlet complex. Venues include Rikki Tiki Tavern, an oversized Tiki bar with creative food and specialty cocktails located 800 feet out over the Atlantic ocean, Pelicans Ocean Grill Restaurant with floor to ceiling ocean views on all sides and outdoor seating over the water, The Boardwalk Bar and Restaurant with incredible views of the beach, Keith's Oyster Bar serving oysters and a variety of seafood specialties, Sea Dogs located directly on the beach featuring Nathan's famous hot dogs and a variety of quick service options and an elegant catering and banquet venue with spectacular views of sand and surf.

Job Description

Maintains resort building and grounds by performing routine preventive maintenance duties.

Duties
Competencies in Plumbing, Electrical and HVAC repairs with minimal assistance or supervision.
Maintain and categorize records and work requests. Perform other custodial or maintenance duties, as required.
Perform preventative maintenance of all aspects of units, common areas and grounds.
Able to repair / replace doors, windows, walls, floor, ceiling, roofs, cabinetry, furniture and remodeling work, as required.
Perform plumbing maintenance on pipes, drains, faucets, disposals, showers, and jetted tubs using methods that include PVC, CPVC and fittings.
Able to reset / replace breakers, ballasts and other electrical fixtures including switches and sockets. Prevent and trouble shoot possible electrical hazards.
Possess a working knowledge of Appliances.
Repair interior walls, wall coverings and ceilings by patching drywall, replacing wood or wall coverings or texture and painting.
Competent skills regarding the operation of small hand and electrical tools, basic electrical, carpentry, painting and small machinery repair.
Must be able to work independently and with minimal supervision.
Any other reasonable request, as directed.

Qualifications

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations.
EPA Certification preferred.
CPO Certification preferred.

Requirements.

  • Must be able to lift 50lbs and work in outdoor weather conditions.
