Job Description

To supervise the total sales effort of the resorts, including developing new accounts, maintaining existing accounts, supervision of sales related personnel, implementation of sales and marketing strategies so as to maximize profits of the resorts while maintaining customer satisfaction. Handling and delegating issues and complaints.

DUTIES

Supervises assigned sales staff: hiring, terminations, disciplinary actions, performance evaluations and development.
Meets with and maintains rapport with Directors, Managers, Reps, Service personnel and contacts in order to continue a great working relationship with his/her peers.
Travels from one resort to another in order to maintain the level of business and service required in order to create revenue for the company
Maintains business through e-mail, Phone texts, in person, Travel and by phone.
Assists the Vice President in making crucial business decisions
Develops and maintains departmental budgets.
Maintains good rapport with all departments with in the company in order to maximize the service needed to sustain business.
Enforces sales related policies and procedures.
Ensures sales activities meet or surpass profit plan.
Assist in Developing and maintaining sales training in order to maximize sales.
Assist in Developing and implementing sales and marketing strategies.

Directors, Sales Managers, Sales Reps, Sales Marketing Managers

  • Originate and carry out sales quotas
  • Create new ways of presenting information that will attract sales personnel attention

  • Frequently change from one activity to another, for example, writing a speech, giving a speech, and writing a report of campaign progress plus motivating speeches to create more sales.
  • Understand how different kinds of people react to words, pictures and color as well as the customer
  • Work with all kinds of people.
  • Must be able to travel in order to maintain the business in a satisfactory manner.
  • Must maintain constant communication with all Directors and Vice President.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
College degree or at least 5 years of sales and service experience.

Specific vocational preparation includes an occupationally significant combination of: vocational education, apprentice training, on-the-job training, or essential experience in less responsible jobs which lead to the higher job or serving in other jobs.

  • Over 4 years up to and including 10 years.
  • least 5 years of sales and service experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS
Must have developed language skills to the point to be able to:

  • Read newspapers, periodicals, journals, and manuals
  • Write business letters, summaries, and reports, using prescribed format, and conforming to all rules of punctuation, grammar, diction, and style
  • Participate in discussions and debates; speak extemporaneously on a variety of subjects.
