Job Description

As a Night Auditor at Westgate [Resort Name], you will be responsible for closing out the business day and generating daily reports, in addition to the following duties:

As the Night Auditor, you will:

  • Audit daily transactions
  • Review and correct Front Desk transactions when necessary
  • Monitor department activities for compliance with management plans and policies
  • Prepare and present audit findings, offering recommendations to management
  • Create vouchers, run folios, and calculate tapes for all vouchers, ensuring they balance with the daily report, in preparation for the accounting department
  • Reconcile all credit card transactions and process transfers to the bank
  • Generate room reports and verify rates
  • Conduct nightly bucket checks
  • Assist with guest check-in and check-out
  • Answer incoming telephone calls as needed
  • Maintain regular attendance as scheduled

Qualifications

  • Associate degree (A. A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Must be able to work overnight shift
  • Must be able to lift 10lbs and work in outdoor weather conditions
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of team members and guests in an attentive and service-oriented manner
