- Full-time, Ongoing position at HEW Level 6.
- Goulburn campus with flexible working arrangements.
- Salary: $99,159 – $106,284 per annum, plus 17% Super and Leave Loading.
Coordinate student placements with NSW Police Force, ensuring compliant processes and positive experiences across the ADAP program.
The Opportunity
In this role, you will coordinate student placements and service-learning opportunities for the Associate Degree in Applied Policing, including field placements and the Operational Stage of the program. You will assess placement requirements and ensure activities align with course requirements, University procedures and NSW Police Force expectations.
You will manage placement-related subjects, maintain subject outlines and oversee the learning management system. You will monitor student participation, provide timely advice and support students to complete their administrative, placement and compliance requirements.
Working closely with academic and professional staff, students and NSW Police Force personnel, you will manage agreements, records and stakeholder communication throughout the placement lifecycle. You will investigate complex matters, manage operational and compliance risks, and improve systems and workflows to support positive student and stakeholder outcomes.
What Success Looks Like:
- Deliver well-coordinated student placements that meet course and compliance requirements.
- Provide accurate and timely advice throughout the student placement lifecycle.
- Maintain reliable placement records and information for key stakeholders.
- Resolve complex placement and stakeholder matters using sound professional judgement.
- Improve placement systems, processes and workflows to strengthen efficiency and compliance.

About You
- A relevant tertiary qualification or significant professional administrative training and experience, preferably within higher education.
- Demonstrated experience providing high-level administrative services, ideally involving student placements.
- Strong computer literacy, including experience with Microsoft Office applications and database management.
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with staff, management and external agencies.
- Proven organisational and time management skills, including the ability to monitor multiple cases, manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
Pre-Employment Requirements
Successful applicants will be required to:
- Complete and obtain approval via the NSW Police Force Professional Suitability Application Form.
- Obtain and maintain a Baseline National Security Clearance, as required by the NSW Police Academy.
These are mandatory conditions to be considered for this role, as required by the NSW Police Force.
