Lead Faculty planning and operations for a new shared research building.

The Opportunity

You will lead the Faculty of Health’s involvement in establishing and operationalising a new research building shared across research partners. As the Faculty’s key liaison, you will coordinate its requirements and contributions through planning, commissioning, transition and ongoing operations.

You will develop operational plans, processes and service arrangements covering access, onboarding, space, shared equipment and facility use. You will support established governance committees by preparing advice, briefings, reports, recommendations and risk information. You will also coordinate the transition to business-as-usual operations, resolve complex operational issues and monitor readiness, performance and emerging requirements to support safe, effective and sustainable research activity.

What Success Looks Like:

  • Faculty requirements are clearly identified and progressed through building planning, commissioning and operational readiness.
  • Practical arrangements are established for access, onboarding, shared equipment, space coordination and facility use.
  • Governance decisions are translated into coordinated Faculty actions, supported by timely advice, reporting and risk information.
  • People, systems, services, documentation and responsibilities are integrated for an effective transition to ongoing operations.
  • Operational risks and stakeholder issues are resolved through evidence-based recommendations and appropriate escalation.

Please refer to the Position Description for full details.
