  • Full-time, 12-month Fixed-Term position at HEW Level 7.
  • Parramatta South campus with flexible working arrangements.
  • Salary: $107,053 – $115,469 per annum, plus 17% Super and Leave Loading.

Deliver governance, policy and project outcomes that support Provost Office decision-making and operational effectiveness.

The Opportunity
You will support the strategic objectives of the Provost Office by delivering governance, policy and project outcomes across a complex University environment. Working across academic and professional portfolios, you will coordinate committee processes, reporting requirements and governance documentation that support informed decision-making.

You will prepare reports, submissions, briefing papers and correspondence for executive and governance audiences. You will also contribute to policy development and implementation, including academic governance initiatives, academic promotions and priority programs across the Provost portfolio.

You will manage competing governance cycles, project milestones and stakeholder expectations under broad direction. Using Microsoft 365 and contemporary business systems, you will maintain records, monitor compliance and identify practical improvements that strengthen service quality, transparency and operational effectiveness.

What Success Looks Like:

  • Governance and committee processes are coordinated effectively, with timely action management and high-quality outcomes.
  • Reports, submissions, briefing papers and correspondence support clear executive and governance decision-making.
  • Strategic projects across the Provost portfolio are delivered against agreed objectives, timeframes and stakeholder expectations.
  • Policy, procedural and records management activities support transparency, compliance and effective risk management.
  • Process improvements are identified and implemented to enhance governance, policy and administrative services.

About You

  • Degree qualification in a relevant discipline with significant relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training and professional experience.
  • Demonstrated experience coordinating complex projects, governance functions or strategic initiatives within a large and complex organisation.
  • Proven experience providing policy, executive or committee support services.
  • Highly developed analytical, written and communication skills, including preparation of reports, briefings and governance documentation.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to work effectively across organisational boundaries and manage competing priorities.
