  • Full-time ongoing position at HEW Level 5.
  • Location: Macarthur Clinical School Campbelltown with flexible working arrangements.
  • Salary: $85,778 – $97,006 per annum, plus 17% Super and Leave Loading.


Provide high-level administrative support, including coordinating clinical student placements and stakeholder engagement.

The Opportunity

You will provide comprehensive administrative support to academic and professional staff at the Macarthur Clinical School, acting as the first point of contact for clinical year matters. The role supports teaching, research and academic activity and contributes to the smooth operation of the Clinical School.

You will coordinate and administer clinical student placements across diverse settings, maintain accurate records and manage complex case matters using sound judgement and discretion. You will prepare documentation for placement organisations, supervisors and students, and ensure requirements and learning outcomes are clearly communicated.

You will work closely with the Executive Officer and Clinical Dean, liaise with health services and university stakeholders, and support broader School activities during peak periods. Regular travel across metropolitan clinical schools and the main School of Medicine campus at Campbelltown is required.

What Success Looks Like:

  • Clinical student placements are coordinated accurately and delivered on time.
  • Records and case matters are managed with confidentiality and sound judgement.
  • Clear communication is maintained between students, health services and University stakeholders.
  • Documentation for placements is accurate, compliant and fit for purpose.
  • Administrative support during peak periods meets School operational needs.

About You

  • Relevant qualification or equivalent administrative experience in a large, complex organisation.
  • High-level computer literacy including databases, word processing and spreadsheets.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret policy and procedures.
  • Effective interpersonal, written and oral communication skills across diverse stakeholders.
  • Current driver’s licence and capacity to travel regularly between campuses.
