  • Full-time, Ongoing position at Academic Level B.
  • Bankstown campus with flexible working arrangements.
  • Salary: $123,327 – $145,625 per annum, plus 17% Super and Leave Loading.


Teach and research inclusive education across K–12 teacher education programs.

The Opportunity
You will contribute to teaching, research and scholarship in the School of Education, with a focus on Inclusive Education across K–12 contexts. Based at Bankstown, you will teach into Initial Teacher Education programs and relevant postgraduate specialty programs, working as part of a large teaching team.

You will coordinate and deliver inclusive education subjects, prepare blended learning experiences across face-to-face, online and intensive modes, and assess student learning with timely, constructive feedback. You will support subject design, curriculum development and quality assurance processes aligned with internal requirements and external accreditation standards.

You will also contribute to research activity appropriate to Academic Level B, including publications, research projects and supervision of postgraduate research candidates. Reporting to the Head of Discipline, Inclusion, Equity, Diversity and Social Justice, you will build productive relationships with colleagues, schools, education settings and community partners to support professional experience and strengthen inclusive education practice.

  • Deliver high-quality blended learning experiences that support student learning.
  • Maintain subject quality in line with accreditation and internal assurance standards.
  • Contribute to research projects, publications and postgraduate supervision.
  • Build effective partnerships with schools, education settings and community partners.

About You

  • A PhD or EdD in Education.
  • Demonstrated experience in quality tertiary teaching, including small and large group facilitation.
  • Experience using contemporary curriculum design, delivery, assessment and eLearning methods.
  • Experience developing inclusive education curriculum for primary or secondary teacher education.
  • Evidence of research activity, publication outcomes and collaboration with the teaching profession or community partners.
  • Experience working with students from culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) backgrounds, including international students.
