The Opportunity
Western Sydney University’s Launch Pad supports innovation, entrepreneurship and community impact by connecting students, researchers, start-ups and industry partners. The Administrative and Operations Officer plays a key role in enabling the smooth operation of Launch Pad precincts and programs.
In this role, you will deliver high-quality administrative, operational, event and communication support, ensuring day-to-day activities run efficiently and consistently. You will coordinate systems, processes and logistics that underpin programs, member services and precinct operations.
You will work closely with a diverse range of stakeholders in a fast-paced environment, contributing to a collaborative team that supports enterprise and innovation outcomes across the University.
What Success Looks Like:
- Administrative, financial and operational processes are delivered accurately and on time.
- Systems, databases and communication channels are maintained with reliable information.
- Member access, bookings, equipment use and invoicing are managed in line with policy.
- Events, workshops and precinct activations are well coordinated and supported.

About You
- You will hold a relevant degree and/or bring equivalent administrative experience gained in a large or complex organisation.
- You communicate clearly and confidently, with the ability to work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
- You are comfortable interpreting and applying policies, procedures and guidelines in your day-to-day work.
- You are well organised, able to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- You are confident using Microsoft 365 and administrative or data management systems to support efficient operations.
