Job Description

Summary of the Role:

As a Technician IV, Manufacturing (Quality Assurance and Contamination Support), you are responsible for ensuring contamination control, cleanroom compliance, and manufacturing readiness by performing area certifications, qualifications, environmental monitoring, equipment qualification, and preventive maintenance. You support investigations, audits, training, and continuous improvement initiatives while collaborating with cross-functional teams to maintain quality, operational, and regulatory compliance through effective documentation, reporting, and contamination control practices.

Key Responsibilities and Role Accountabilities:

  • Conducts area certification and line qualification
  • Checks and monitors cleanroom parameters
  • Conducts IDM Qualification, supports IMQF requirement, and IDM process-related investigation activities
  • Supports manufacturing area qualification for both cleanroom and normal room after Planned/Unplanned Shutdown, scheduled Technical Cleaning and Disinfection activity
  • Conducts investigations and collaborates with the Corporate Real Estate & Workplace team to resolve issues/problem
  • Supports any stakeholder area verification or investigation request
  • Executes special area contamination audits of Supplier’s manufacturing area, warehouse, and production areas
  • Conducts machine and fixture qualification activities
  • Performs routine preventive maintenance
  • Supports the change room and laundry engineering process
  • Monitors and controls jumpsuit cleanliness and Laundry KIV/KOV monitoring activities
  • Conducts an investigation into jumpsuit and laundry-related issues
  • Conducts contamination awareness and training
  • Monitors Talc spot check activity
  • Supports contamination control projects and standardization
  • Assists with documentation and other relevant reports

Qualifications

Education and Work Experience:

  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in Electronics Technology, Electromechanical Technology, Industrial Technology, Electrical Technology or a related field of study.
  • Atleast 2 years of work experience in contamination control, environmental monitoring or manufacturing quality assurance.
  • Industry exposure in Electronics or Semiconductor Manufacturing setup is highly preferred.
  • Experience in conducting investigations, root cause analysis, implementing corrective and preventive actions is highly desirable.
  • Experience supporting preventive maintenance, technical cleaning, manufacturing shutdown recovery and production area readiness is an advantage

Skills and Competency Requirements:

  • Knowledge of qualification, validation, and manufacturing quality processes.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
  • Effective planning, prioritization, and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while contributing effectively in a team environment.
