Job Description

As a Business Operations Analyst II, Supplier Master Organization, you will be responsible for owning the Supplier Master Organization data backbone to enable a supplier partner experience aligned with sourcing requirements, risk assessments, and compliance readiness. This role drives data accuracy, governance, and automation in line with the overall SMO strategy.

Key Responsibilities and Role Accountabilities:

  • Serve as the primary contact for business escalations related to supplier master data and processes.
  • Improve data quality through regular audits, including duplicate removal, standardization, and data retirement.
  • Lead data validation, cleansing, and harmonization efforts to ensure data integrity.
  • Collaborate with TPMO, Procurement, Supply Chain, IT, Finance, Legal, Sustainability, and Internal Audit on data-driven initiatives and projects.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, governance standards, and audit requirements.
  • Manage SMO governance, including policies, operating model, and stewardship frameworks.
  • Implement and optimize SMO tools and automated workflows for supplier onboarding and decommissioning.
  • Monitor SMO KPIs (e.g., data completeness, duplicate rate) and provide insights for continuous improvement.
  • Support audits, remediation tracking, and generation of audit-ready supplier data extracts.
  • Drive process improvements, automation, and digitalization aligned with CoE strategy.
  • Support special projects (e.g., new supplier onboarding, conversions) and other assigned tasks.
  • Foster strong stakeholder relationships and promote effective cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

Education and Work Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Computer Science, Information Technology, Supply Chain or related field of study.
  • Atleast 4 years of work experience particularly in data management, SMO governance, or procurement systems.
  • Mandarin speaking skills is an advantage.
  • Industry experience in IT services, Shared Services, Global Business Services or Multinational organizations is highly preferred.
  • Knowledgeable in oracle master data management is highly preferred.

Skills and Competency Requirements:

  • Proficiency in SMO governance, data quality metrics, supplier risk, procurement processes, and basic audit principles.
  • Knowledgeable in Oracle Cloud applications
  • Knowledgeable in Microsoft 365, with up-to-date and strong Excel skills
  • Knowledgeable in advanced Excel (analytics/macros), BI tools, and workflow automation
  • Ability to lead data projects, resolve complex issues, deliver KPI reports and dashboards, and conduct data audits.
