Job Description

As a NPI Manager 4, you will be responsible in working with engineering teams in US and Asia to support product development, factory readiness and Pre-RAMP to get the factory ready to produce in high volume.  You will support the program strategy and factory requirements for high volume manufacturing.

You are required to pull multi organizations together to achieve the above objectives and need to have good written and communication skills. Good command in English language is required, as you will be working together with individuals and organizations from multiple countries

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Leads factory cross-functional team to manage New Products Readiness for successful market launch per committed schedule. This include meeting KPI targets for volume ramp, yield, quality, scrap and cost.
  • Manage and coordinate all factory efforts to prepare, supporting development builds and customer samples build until high volume manufacturing. This involves reviewing all new material, process requirements, interfacing with other sites to solicit required support and training and working out a systematic factory implementation plan
  • Manages factory cross-functional teams to facilitate the resolution of program issues in order to ensure program objectives and deliverables are achieved.
  • Facilitate Manufacturing Readiness Review from MRR3.
  • Inventory management control.
  • Provide management decisions to cope with department objectives.
  • Establish, add or change appropriated work instruction and report.
  • Generates creative ideas and/or solutions to improve the status quo with a positive, can-do attitude.
  • Perform related work as assigned.
  • Build up effective teamwork for both internal and external organization.
  • Understand and able to apply IMS policy
  • Participate and support internal activities that related to IMS.

Sustaining Product

  • Support and work with other functional teams to clear any roadblocks that might affect the release timeline.
  • Supervise/Facilitate the implementation of engineering changes (EC’s) once the qualification is complete with conditions/restriction control as necessary.
  • Lead or collaborate with other relevant functional & operations teams in order to define an efficient ramp plan to meet the business needs.
  • Lead and manage the sustaining qualification & arrange the priority based on business requirements.
  • Track and Transfer Lessons Learned to other products and future programs via the WDITR system.
  • Understand and able to apply IMS policy
  • Participate and support internal activities that related to IMS.

Qualifications

REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering or related field.
  • 7+ years in engineering field.

PREFERRED:

  • Knowledge in Computer and Microsoft basics.
  • Ability to communication  in English.
