Job Description
Summary of the Role:
As an Administrative Support III, Production Control, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely and efficient planning, coordination, and control of materials to support production requirements. This role involves managing inventory levels, maintaining accurate data within MRP/ERP systems, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operations. The position requires strong analytical skills, system proficiency, and a solid understanding of material planning fundamentals, preferably within an electronics or semiconductor manufacturing environment.
Job Responsibilities and Role Accountabilities:
- Plan, schedule, and monitor material requirements to support production and customer demand
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure optimal inventory levels to prevent shortages or excess stock
- Utilize MRP/ERP systems (including Oracle) to generate material plans and manage transactions
- Analyze data to support forecasting, inventory control, and material availability decisions
- Measure and monitor forecast accuracy and recommend improvements
- Coordinate closely with production, procurement, and warehouse teams to align material flow and resolve supply issues
- Work with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and address supply-related concerns
- Perform data encoding and maintain accurate master data within planning systems
- Support ERP configuration and system improvements related to material planning processes
- Prepare reports and provide analysis to support management decision-making
Qualifications
Education and Work Experience:
- Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics Technology, Computer Technology, Information Technology, Industrial Technology or a related field of study.
- Atleast 2 years of work experience in the relevant field.
- Technical experience in inventory and material planning is highly desirable.
- Industry exposure in an Electronics or Semiconductor Manufacturing setup is highly preferred.
- Experience in data encoding and data analysis is an advantage.
Skills and Competency Requirement:
- Ability to understand and use MRP systems, including Oracle
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel
- Ability to analyze and interpret data
- Ability to measure and improve forecast accuracy
- Ability to coordinate effectively across cross-functional teams (production, procurement, and warehouse)
- Knowledge of ERP system configuration
- Understanding of material planning fundamentals
- Ability to operate planning systems efficiently
- Ability to manage inventory and suppliers effectively
