サプライヤーイノベーションエンジニアは、業界エコシステム・戦略的サプライヤー・社内クロスファンクショナルチームと緊密に連携し、新技術の導入、総所有コスト（TCO）の削減、および、サプライヤーの製造/生産能力・品質・サステナビリティ・レジリエンスの強化を担います。

本ポジションは、サプライチェーン、エンジニアリング、製造オペレーションの交点に位置し、サプライヤーエコシステムにおけるイノベーションを推進することで、長期的な事業成長と競争力向上に貢献します。

The Supplier Innovation Engineer partners closely with industry ecosystem, strategic suppliers, and internal cross‑functional teams to enable new technologies, reduce total cost of ownership (TCO), and strengthen supplier manufacturing capability, capacity, quality, sustainability, and resilience. This role sits at the intersection of supply chain, engineering, and operations, driving innovation across the supplier ecosystem to support long-term business growth and competitiveness.

The ideal candidate combines strong technical acumen with supplier-facing leadership, using data, structured problem-solving, and collaboration to translate emerging technologies into scalable, cost-effective, and resilient supply chain solutions.

■ サプライヤー技術支援・イノベーション推進

• サプライヤーと連携し、コスト・性能・品質・市場投入速度の改善につながる新技術・プロセス・材料の評価、試作、適用拡大を主導
• サプライヤー、社内の製品開発、量産、品質、調達部門との技術的な橋渡し役を担う
• 製品ロードマップ、および、サプライチェーンロードマップに沿ったサプライヤー主導のイノベーションを推進

■ コスト最適化・意思決定支援

• 量産を見据えた設計（DFM）、プロセス最適化、自動化、歩留まり改善、ライフサイクルコスト分析を通じ、TCO削減施策をリード
• 調達および技術導入の判断の為に、コスト・品質・リスク・サステナビリティ・スケーラビリティのトレードオフの評価を実施
• 技術・プロセス理解をもとに、コストモデリングおよびファクトベースの価格交渉を支援

■ サプライヤー能力・レジリエンス強化

• 現在および将来の事業需要に対応するため、サプライヤーの生産能力・スケーラビリティ・技術的準備状況を評価・改善
• プロセス能力・設備準備・人材スキル・デジタル化を含む、サプライヤーの業務改善に向けた施策を推進
• サプライチェーン・オペレーションチームと連携し、マルチサプライヤーの確保、リスク軽減、復旧計画策定を含むサプライヤーレジリエンス強化

■ 品質改善・継続的改善

• サプライヤーおよび社内品質部門と協力し、プロセス能力の向上・バラつきの低減・品質問題の流出防止に取り組む
• サプライヤーの構造的な問題に対するルートコーズ分析および是正処置を主導
• Lean・Six Sigma・SPC等の継続的改善手法に関して、サプライヤーへ展開・普及

■ サステナビリティ対応

• 環境負荷低減・エネルギー効率化・廃棄物削減・責任ある調達に関するサプライヤーのサステナビリティ施策を支援

■ 社内連携・ステークホルダー対応

• 製品開発、量産、品質、調達、財務・プログラムマネージメントなどの関連部門と連携し、優先事項の整合と実行推進
• 複雑な技術・サプライチェーン上のトピックを、技術系・非技術系を問わず関係者に分かりやすく発信
• 組織の壁を越えて合意形成と成果創出を牽引

Key Responsibilities

Supplier Technology Enablement & Innovation

• Partner with suppliers to evaluate, pilot, and scale new technologies, processes, and materials that improve cost, performance, quality, and time-to-market
• Serve as a technical interface between suppliers and internal engineering, manufacturing, quality, and procurement teams
• Identify and drive supplier-led innovation opportunities aligned with product and supply chain roadmaps
• Lead initiatives to reduce total cost of ownership through design-for-manufacturability, process optimization, automation, yield improvement, and lifecycle cost analysis
• Evaluate trade-offs across cost, quality, risk, sustainability, and scalability to inform sourcing and technology decisions
• Support should-cost modeling and fact-based negotiations through deep technical and process understanding
• Assess and improve supplier capacity, scalability, and technical readiness to support current and future business demand
• Drive initiatives to improve supplier operational maturity, including process capability, equipment readiness, workforce skills, and digitalization
• Partner with supply chain and operations teams to strengthen supplier resilience, including dual sourcing, risk mitigation, and recovery planning
• Collaborate with suppliers and internal quality teams to improve process capability, reduce variability, and prevent escapes
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective action for systemic supplier issues
• Promote continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, SPC) across the supplier base
• Support supplier sustainability initiatives related to environmental impact, energy efficiency, waste reduction, and responsible sourcing
• Work closely with engineering, manufacturing, quality, procurement, finance, and program management teams to align priorities and execution
• Communicate complex technical and supply chain topics clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Influence to drive alignment and results across organizational boundaries

• エンジニアリング、サプライチェーン、製造オペレーション等の技術分野における学士号
• エンジニアリング部門、生産技術開発部門、サプライヤー開発、または、関連職種での実務経験5年以上
• 技術・オペレーション・コスト削減施策においてサプライヤーと直接連携した経験
• データドリブンな思考に基づく高い分析力・問題解決力
• 国内外への出張が可能であること

＜あると望ましい経験、資格、スキル＞

• エンジニアリング、サプライチェーン、ビジネス（MBA）分野における修士号
• 新製造技術またはプロセスの量産導入経験
• コストモデリング・ショルダーコスト分析・バリューエンジニアリングの経験
• グローバルな複雑なサプライチェーン・ソーシング・研究開発パートナーシップにおける経験

Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, or a related technical field
• 5+ years of experience in supply chain engineering, manufacturing engineering, supplier development, or related roles
• Experience working directly with suppliers on technical, operational, or cost-reduction initiatives
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed

Preferred Qualifications
• Master’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or Business (MBA)
• Experience introducing new manufacturing technologies or processes into production
• Background in cost modeling, should-cost analysis, or value engineering
• Experience in complex, global supply chains, sourcing, and R&D partnerships
