Job Description
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work primarily in the production line environment, following safety protocols and cleanroom procedures
- Operate and maintain vacuum deposition equipment, performing chamber conditioning, process optimization, and recipe development under engineering supervision
- Perform thin film characterization using analytical techniques such as Ellipsometry, X-ray Reflectivity (XRR), and Raman Spectroscopy to evaluate film properties and process quality
- Collect, analyze, and interpret experimental data to evaluate process performance, identify trends, and recommend improvement opportunities
- Gather and summarize experimental data to support process decisions. Prepare clear, concise reports and presentations to communicate findings and insights to stakeholders
- Identify process risks and issues proactively. Provide timely and effective solutions to minimize disruptions and ensure experiment continuity
- Support the development and validation of new process conditions and deposition recipes to improve film quality and process efficiency

- Maintain experiment schedules, track milestones, and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks. Communicate progress clearly and follow up on deliverables

Qualifications
REQUIRED:
- Currently pursuing Bachelor's degree in Physics, Applied Physics, Materials Science, Instrumentation, Industrial Physics or equivalent experience
- Basic knowledge or coursework in vacuum technology and thin film deposition principles
- Able to work on-site in a production/cleanroom environment
PREFERRED:
- Hands-on experience or laboratory coursework with thin film deposition systems (e.g., sputtering, HIPIMS, cathodic arc, or ion beam systems)
- Knowledge of thin film characterization techniques such as Ellipsometry, X-ray Reflectivity (XRR), and Raman Spectroscopy
- Understanding of vacuum systems, pumping mechanisms, and gas delivery systems
- Familiarity with data analysis for experimental data processing
SKILLS:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Good level of English proficiency (written and verbal communication)
- Ability to prepare clear reports and presentations to communicate experimental results
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Eager to learn and adaptable to fast-paced production environment
- Good time management and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
