Job Description
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work on a project-based assignment focusing on motion control systems (motors, controllers, etc.), including data monitoring, process optimization, and predictive analysis to reduce defects and maximize production capacity
- Support improvements to the CAMSTAR system, including writing and modifying code, performing failure analysis (FA), and enhancing overall system functionality
- Study selected machines in production processes, establish a library of motion control systems, and select a pilot system to demonstrate a framework for signal monitoring and optimization.
- Assist in collecting, analyzing, and visualizing motion and process data to identify patterns and improvement opportunities
- Contribute to developing predictive maintenance models to reduce downtime and improve equipment efficiency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, technicians, and IT, to implement process improvements and automation solutions
- Research emerging technologies in motion control, automation, and predictive analytics to enhance current manufacturing processes
Qualifications
REQUIRED:
- Pursuing a bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Robotics and Artificial Intelligence, Digital Engineering or a related field
- Internship student in the cooperative education program (CWIE) is required to have an internship period of at least 4-6 months
SKILLS:
- Skills in programming languages: C, C++, Python, MCU, Machine Vision, PLC, etc.
- Skills in Project Management and communication
- Knowledge in vision systems and image processing
- Knowledge in AI object detection and Classification
- Demonstrate a good level of English proficiency
