Job Description

Western Digital is currently looking for a savvy and skilled Graphics Designer. In this position, you will develop visual communications for the Western Digital Executive Leadership Team, primarily PowerPoint presentations. Your work will be seen at internal and external events and speaking engagements. You will also be expected to work closely and collaborate with other stakeholders across the company to ensure that overall design aligns with our brand and messaging.

The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for visual aesthetics and a strong understanding of corporate storytelling. This role requires someone who can translate ideas into compelling design content that engages and resonates with diverse audiences.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Develop visual communications for executives, ensuring a polished and consistent look and feel for content to be used across a variety of channels and mediums, including events and websites
  • Create custom PowerPoint and Keynote presentations that visually communicate a compelling story
  • Assess and evaluate existing presentations and implement and recommend improvements
  • Produce high-quality work in a fast-paced environment
  • Manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously while attending to deadlines
  • Support a variety of communication projects on an individual basis and as a member of the Communications team

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of design experience at a leading brand, with a strong portfolio of work
  • Intimate knowledge of presentation programs such as PowerPoint, Prezi, and Keynote
  • Deep knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite programs such as Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator
  • Good eye for design and aesthetics to create well-thought-out and engaging and effective PowerPoint presentations
  • Ability to uphold brand guidelines and a strong knowledge of design standards
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, often under tight deadlines
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Highly collaborative and adaptable, with the ability to build relationships and work effectively with multiple stakeholders across different levels of the organization
  • Curious, flexible, and the ability to think creatively
  • Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, self-motivated, and can thrive under pressure
