Job Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Technology Development and Implementation, Develop and implement new technologies to meet evolving customer requirements, Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new processes and ensure smooth transitions.
  • Process Improvement Continuously improve yield, product quality, and cycle time through data analysis and process optimization, Develop and implement strategies to reduce defects and enhance manufacturing efficiency.
  • Process Control and Monitoring, Establish robust monitoring systems, Out-of-Control Action Plans (OCAP), and improvement plans for process control, Ensure compliance with industry standards and internal quality control measures.
  • Training and Development , Provide training to technicians and other relevant personnel to ensure adherence to best practices and operational protocols, Develop training materials and continuously update training programs to reflect technological advancements and process changes.
  • Cost Management , Improve operating costs by reducing material consumption, qualifying new materials, and identifying and evaluating new suppliers, Analyze cost-saving opportunities and implement solutions that do not compromise quality.
  • Issue Resolution and Leadership, Lead meetings addressing customer, manufacturing, and supplier issues, ensuring all stakeholders are informed and aligned, Take ownership of problem-solving efforts, from root cause analysis to implementing corrective actions.
  • Process Documentation and Reporting , Finalize and document conclusions from process issues, evaluations, and experiments, Provide detailed reports and summaries for review by management and other stakeholders.
  • Team Supervision, Supervise and mentor engineers, technicians, and operators, ensuring adherence to company policies and operational discipline, Foster a collaborative and disciplined work environment that promotes continuous improvement.
  • Task Execution , Execute assigned tasks efficiently and within the designated timeline, Adapt to changing priorities and responsibilities as required by the business needs.
  • Troubleshooting and Sustaining Operations , Sustain manufacturing operations by addressing and solving technical and process-related issues, Implement long-term solutions to prevent recurrence of issues.
  • Standardization and Commonality , Ensure standardization and commonality of processes and systems across related manufacturing sites, Promote consistency in manufacturing practices and alignment with corporate standards

Qualifications

REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering; Electronics, Mechanical, Mechatronic, Physics or related field.
  • At least 5-7 years of experience related position.

PREFERRED:

  • Experience in the HDD; especially Slider Fab Process is Advantage.
  • Experience in Metrology tools (SEM) is Advantage.

SKILLS:

  • Experience programing Software, Python, Matlab, SQL or Image Processing.
  • Good communication in English.
