Job Description

  • Serve as a primary point of contact (POC) for fab operations, logistics, and systems in the Advanced Memory Development (AMD) Process organization.
  • Collaborate closely with internal and external engineering and operation teams, to prevent or mitigate operation related risks and issues.
  • Own operation related activities, drive projects through completion.
  • Build strategy to enable in time execution and report out performance metrics.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot complex manufacturing issues, applying strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proactively identify inefficiencies and develop improvement projects and best known methods (BKMs) to enhance productivity and cost-effectiveness.
  • Effectively manage multiple tasks simultaneously, maintaining focus and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
  • Work effectively within a team environment, demonstrating strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Manage international shipping of components, collaborating with global vendors, partners to ensure timely deliveries.
  • Adhere to all safety policies and procedures without exception.

Qualifications

  • Possess a Bachelor’s, or Master’s degree in engineering or science disciplines related to semiconductor fabrication.
  • Possess a deep understanding of semiconductor technology introduction, product qualification, and project management.
  • 2+ years of experience in operations, manufacturing, engineering, or related fields.
  • Experience coordinating cross functional teams with indirect accountability.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including spreadsheets, word documents, and presentations.
  • Exceptional data and statistical analysis skills with the ability to interpret and apply complex data.
  • Must be an excellent communicator, strong written, verbal, and presentation skills to effectively convey technical and non-technical information to diverse audiences.
  • Must come with a hands-on approach and a continuous learning and improvement mindset.
  • Demonstrated organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
