Job Description

Responsibilities:

  1. Perform electrical failure analysis  for Manufacturing / Quality & customer failure drives for both NPI and sustaining
  2. Identify source of failure, either HW (NAND, ASIC, PMIC, DDR), FW, assembly process, handling, test setup etc
  3. Work with  subject matter experts / Internal stakeholders for  CAPA  as needed
  4. Responsible to update / maintain the Cookbook for Debug / Manufacturing / quality  failures.
  5. Drive yield & continuous improvement action on regular basis

Qualifications

Requirements:

1. The individual will be responsible for performing failure analysis on customer returns for eMMC/UFS/SSD products. Define failure root cause and enhance production flow to improve product quality.

2. Troubleshooting from system level to component level. Interfacing with design, firmware, process, product, test and reliability engineering to solve problems.

3. Providing feedback and clarifies issues to customers.

4. The ideal candidate will have an engineering MS degree or equivalent. Working experiment on NAND relative industry for at least 5 years.

5. Familiar with C programming language is mandatory. Good knowledge on microelectronics or device physics. Good English comprehension (written and verbal).

6. A proven desire to work as a team member, both on the same team and outside of the team. Ability to troubleshoot and analyze complex problems.

7. Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
