Job Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop Test firmware using Python/C++/C# in multiple environments , for OptiNAND/eHDD (Enterprise Hard Disk Drive) products.
  • Become the subject matter expert, owner of one or more components and provide technical leadership.
  • Follow Agile methodologies in development.
  • You'll be on a scrum team responsible for full stack  Test software development for enterprise products. This includes innovation, design, implementation of test, quality assurance software needed for our large and complex software environment.
  • Deliver on cutting-edge storage products with interfaces like UFS, SAS, SATA, PCIe.
  • Work with cross functional teams such as with Memory, Firmware and product line teams to develop, test and qualify flash storage products .
  • Self-motivated to work both unsupervised and as part of an agile team. Collaborate to develop self and others within group. 
  • Perform NAND flash storage based analysis and verification from product definition and planning through production and release
  • Understanding of manufacturing operations and product/test engineering flow 
  • Ensure product meets the Quality specifications of the product and be the focal point for all quality issues.
  • Plan, implement and manage compliance of quality standards. 
  • Performs reviews with all the program members, make analysis of qualification reports in order to update or changes quality standards when necessary 
  • Understand the technical details of all issues and proposed changes to the products 
  • Provide regular updates to the quality management team on all the program activities. 

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelors with 3+ years experience in software quality development.
  • Hands on experience in Python/C++/C# object oriented programming skills. 
  • The ideal individual must have proven ability to achieve results in a fast moving, dynamic environment. 
  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines. 
  • Self-motivated, self-directed and ability to work well with people. 
  • Proven experience as a software designer and/or software lead.
  • Demonstrated ability to rapidly learn new technologies, complex code and developing system, architecture view. 
  • Strong aptitude and penchant for problem solving, and complexity analysis skills.
  • You are comfortable and enjoy working with dynamic and ever evolving environments.
  • Technical mindset with great attention to detail and an ever positive, can-do attitude.
  • Demonstrate use of out-of-box thinking for creative solutions to highly sticky problems.
  • You have excellent interpersonal skills, including written and verbal communication and are an effective
    collaborator.
  • You'll be a fun and enthusiastic teammate who enjoys a challenge and celebrates success.

Preferred

  • Familiarity with embedded systems.
  • Working Knowledge of any NAND product is a plus.
  • Low level firmware/software debug skills and any storage protocols [SAS, SATA, UFS, NVMe] are a plus.
  • Knowledge and experience in use of Thermal Chambers and characterization, bus analysers, JTAG, emulators and other firmware debugging tools.
