Job Description
As a mid-level Content Creator/Scriptwriter, you will play a pivotal role in crafting compelling narratives and engaging content across various channels, with a particular emphasis on scriptwriting, storyboarding and various multimedia projects for the consumer audiences. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of producing impactful marketing content, a keen understanding of storytelling, and the ability to translate complex ideas into compelling scripts.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and produce high-quality scripts and storyboards for all types of video content, including corporate/brand, product, and social media ensuring alignment with brand messaging and campaign/project objectives.
- Collaborate closely with product marketing, design, and production teams to conceptualize and execute creative campaigns that resonate with the target audience.
- Edit and proofread written and script content to maintain consistency, accuracy, and adherence to brand guidelines.
- Actively contribute to the development of creative concepts, content strategies, and calendars.
- Stay current with emerging trends in scriptwriting, content creation, and digital marketing to optimize content performance.
Qualifications
REQUIRED:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, English, or a related field.
- 8-10 years years of experience as a Scriptwriter or similar roles, with a focus on script writing for marketing and multimedia projects.
- Strong portfolio showcasing successful script writing projects and diverse writing styles, with focus on consumer hardware technologies, an advantage.
- Proficiency in script writing tools and software, as well as a good understanding of video production processes.
- Familiarity with media production processes and project management tools (such as Asana, Workfront), a plus
SKILLS:
- Excellent storytelling/storyboarding skills and the ability to create compelling narratives that resonate with target audiences.
- Exceptional creative writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a meticulous attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Collaborative mindset and a team player attitude with effective communication skills to work with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in relevant tools and software for content creation, such as Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, or other content management systems.
