Job Description

Staff Software Development Engineer responsible for planning, designing, developing, integrating and debugging SW modules to support the iNAND embedded flash storage system validation org. The goal is to find any logical and functional issues in the design/product both in the pre and post-silicon timeframe. This person will need to be a fast learner, work independently on issues of diverse scope under general requirements definition, use professional concepts, demonstrate initiative and exercise professional judgment to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways, be proactive/driver in nature, have great communication and organizational skills, excel as a team player and out of the box thinking.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Design strategies and validation plans for embedded features, based on FW architecture, that challenge the feature with system vision
  • Develop SW modules that support system definition with best-in-class coverage, performance, scalability, and debug ability
  • Hands-on integration with Simulation and HW infrastructure
  • Participate and present in relevant design, code, and system validation review forums
  • Become an expert in flash memory’s HW, SW and system architecture

Qualifications

  • REQUIRED:

  • BSc/MSc in CS/EE or equivalent experience
  • +7 years experience in C/C++/Python and OO development
  • Team player and a creative thinker with ability to operate independently and thrive in challenging environment
  • PREFERRED:

  • Experience in verification and validation of complex HW/SW/embedded designs
  • Experience in the development of verification and validation environments
  • Experience with flash memory and/or storage protocols
  • Experience with software configuration management methodologies and tools
