Western Digital, a global storage leading company, is seeking for an experienced hardware technical leader to spearhead the development of characterization methods. In the capacity of an electrical characterization engineer, your primary responsibilities will involve hands-on, high speed interface compliance, multi-disciplinary characterizations, and conducting Failure Analyses on Flash memory products.

Summary of essential job functions:

• Perform compliance tests for High Speed signals (up to 25Gbps)
• Perform post silicon electrical validation on high end tools while working together with design teams for product optimization.
• Characterize high speed SerDes interfaces, signal and power integrity analyses, analog IPs and execute failure analyses and product integration activities in WDC labs

• B.Sc in Electronic & Electrical Engineering
• Very good spoken and written English
• Proven experience of 4-7 years in lab measurements – must.
• Familiarity with high end scopes measurements – must.
• Python programming for the purpose of automation and testing – must.
• Familiarity with Sampling scope, VNAs & BERTs - an advantage.
• Working experience with USA based companies - an advantage.
