Job Description
Electrical Validation and Characterization Engineer
Western Digital, a global storage leading company, is looking for an experienced hardware technical leader for developing characterization methods and be the technical team leader.
As a characterization engineer you will focus on hands-on multi-disciplinary characterizations and Failure Analyses of Flash memory products as well as technically leading your team mates.
Summary of essential job functions:
- Perform characterization methods of embedded memory company products
- Characterize high speed SerDes interfaces, practice signal and power integrity analyses ,analog IPs and execute failure analyses and product integration activities in WDC labs
- Overview the team’s plans and projects
- Technically leading a team of HW engineers
Requirements:
- B.E in Electronic & Electrical Engineering
- Proven experience of 4-7 years in lab measurements - must
- Familiarity with high end scopes measurements - must
- Familiarity with Sampling scope, VNAs & BERTs – an advantage
- Working experience with USA based companies – an advantage
Qualifications
Bachelor Degree in Electrical, Electronics & Communication
