Die Prep Process Technician

Process Module engineering

Support Die Prep Process Module Engineer in New Product Introduction by delivering assigned Process and Equipment solutions meeting quality and development targets.

• Support Die Prep Process Module Engineer in new process development for new wafer technology, next generation products, new material qualifications.
• Assist in setup new Die Prep processes, recipe, perform complete window study, DOEs and corner limits.
• Work with engineers for golden recipe setup for new package qualification
• Process qualification to meet process Critical to Quality Requirements, CPK, Full risk assessment, UPH, Yield, and Cost targets.
• Process transfers from Development to qualification phase and from qualification to LVM phase.
• Support new material (DAF) and tools (blades) qualification
• Work closely with Cross site’s Product development & design team to understand the Package Design Rules & Requirements

• Min Diploma or equal Engineering / Sc (Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, & etc)
• Min 3-5 years of working experience in Semiconductor Process development
• Strong problem solving skills and good Root Cause Analysis/Finding using 5M + 1E, 5 whys, DMAIC, 8D approach/methodology
• Hands on personality – production line focus personnel
• Expertise in Disco machines, Die Prep processes – taping/ backgrind/ sawing, an added advantage
• Knowledge in Semiconductor assembly processes
• Failure Mode Effects Analysis (FMEA), Statistical Process Control (SPC), 8D Problem Solving, 6 Sigma certification, Minitab, JMP knowledge is an added advantage
• Knowledge of Design Of Experiment (DOE)
• Self- motivated, possess initiatives and ability to lead and work independently
• Good task planning, strong sense of quality and urgency
• Team player with Good communication and interpersonal skills
