Western Digital iNAND division located in Kfar Saba, is responsible for designing, developing, and delivering cutting-edge embedded flash storage products for smartphones, laptops, tablets, IoT, and automotive markets.

iNAND FW group is composed of several group disciplines. The FTL group is responsible for the management and tracking of user data in the flash while meeting RAM, performance, and power requirements.

As part of the team, you will:

• Develop system understanding of a complex FW and HW system in order to be able to develop new Firmware modules, solve and debug complex problems
• Take part in Firmware code development in C as part of a complex system (data structures, algorithms, etc.)
• Take part in Firmware design sessions and develop new features per architecture spec and market requirements.
• Develop and debug system tests in C and Python over multiple PC simulation (in C++) and on HW
• Work closely with excellent colleague engineers, cope with complex challenges, innovate, and develop products that will be sold in millions of units
• Lead and participate in HW-FW-Verification integrations, with cross-department teams collaboration

• BSc. in Computer Science or Software/Electrical Engineering
• At least 3 years of experience in RT / embedded systems development
• At least 3 years of experience in C development
• Capable of developing a wide system view of complex embedded system
• Independent, Curious, highly motivated
• Team player with excellent interpersonal skills
• Experience in ARM or ARC processors family, debugging environments and ,tools – an advantage.
