You will be part of the Digital VLSI Flow and Methodology team in WDC. The charter of the team is to define new methodology and flows to push the Power Performance and Area metrics of Digital VLSI designs, which is used by all the product development team across globe in WDC. The team is highly dynamic with a clear focus on innovation, problem solving and productivity improvement. It uses state of the art tools to solve some of the most challenging problems faced in digital VLSI circuit and physical design.

Job Description:

Your responsibilities will include but not limited to development, automation and execution related to:

• Flow and methodology development to push PPA metrics of VLSI Designs
• Come up with innovative solutions to solve the challenges in VLSI Digital Circuits and physical design
• Work on the state of the art technology offerings from EDA companies and come up with innovative solutions to solve the most impactful problems of SOC Design Team.
• Develop platforms for VLSI design optimization and productivity improvement.
• Understand the state-of-the-art offerings from the tools from EDA companies

Qualifications:

• Bachelors with 6+ yrs experience or Master with 4+ yrs experience in CS, CE, EE, EC or equivalent required.
