ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible on critical HOC development work mainly on future product with target HOC 9.5A beyond. 
• Explore new HOC technology to enable demonstrate Objective timely. Jet DLCx and composite film
• Responsible to do Film characterization and FA on any C film related issue.
• Data analytic related to HOC to define optimum result.
• Participate and contribute in HOC related meetings to gather information and solution.
• Perform other duties as assigned

REQUIRED:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in the field of Material science, Mechanical, Physic, Chemical, or their equivalent.
• At least 8 years or more in a Development engineering role in HDD business or Electronics industry
• Good understanding of statistics and/or statistical process R&D/ DoE principles.

PREFERRED:

• Experience/expert in Head overcoat process and hardware specific to Jet DLCx and composite film.
• Experience in Raman technique and analyzing and Ellipsomenter Microscopy.
• Proficient in interpreting data collected from various surface characterization techniques including complex decision-making.

SKILLS:

• Good command of the English language (verbal and written).
• Good fundamental understanding of basic science and technology.
• Good intercommunication and report-writing skills.
• Proficient in the use of data processing and statistical analysis software
