RESPONSIBILITIES

 BROAD FUNCTIONS:

To source and manage the indirect materials (non-component related) commodities which includes a wide range of commodities such as Computer Hardware, Office Supplies, Facilities Maintenance & Services, Tooling, Packaging, Chemicals, Clean Room Consumables, etc.

Regular

• Perform sourcing events and responsible for RFQ activities related to the purchases of materials, equipment, and services
• Support strategic initiatives, cost savings and contract management by utilizing should-cost models
• Negotiate pricing, lead time, commercial terms, incoterm, MOQ, contract renewals, etc
• Collaborate internally to meet stakeholders needs, ensure alignment with company’s strategic direction and drive key performance measures (KPI)
• Identify suppliers based on stakeholder requirements and supplier capability
• Engage in supplier development and risk assessment to optimize cost, supply and quality
• Ensure the supplier complies with the company’s rules and regulations, RBA requirement, Ethics and Compliance requirement, Trade Compliance, IMS Compliance
• Generate reports in tracking and meeting cost savings goal and initiatives

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or related field of stud               
• Excellent communication skill with global sites and suppliers, fluent spoken and written English as a business counterpart located globally
• Practical experience and excellent skillset on all office application software (Excel, PowerPoint)
• Practical experience in Oracle
• Indirect / sourcing buyer with minimum 3 years’ experience in category management in manufacturing environment, procurement or supply chain related experience
