We are looking for an energetic and creative individual focused on NAND flash memory based storage systems, serving the client SSD and removable storage (USB/SD) markets. Join us and be part of the team to define and to shape the future of memory systems! 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Perform NAND flash memory based storage systems design, analysis, integration and validation from product definition and planning through development, production and release 

• Developing memory system specifications and memory requirements 

• Responsible for NAND flash system level behavior characterizations  

• Drive cross functional meetings such as with memory, firmware and product line teams to develop flash storage products 

• Provides feedbacks on new system features for next generation memory developments 

• Optimize QLC 3D NAND performance and addressing reliability issues

Minimum Qualifications: 

• Bachelor degree from Electrical/Electronics/Computer Science/ Solid-State Physics preferred with >15 years’ experience

• Experience in TLC and QLC 3D NAND

• Experience in understanding of QLC NAND defects/reliability issues and implementing FW features.

• Knowledge of Fab defects, scan chain/analog DFTs, and system recovery features for array defects.Work experience on NAND storage domain, embedded system design and development 

• Knowledge of Semiconductor physics and/or Computer Architecture

• Knowledge of programming in high-level languages (e.g. C, C++, Python) is a plus.  

• Knowledge of flash media management techniques is a plus 

• Knowledge of storage interfaces such as SATA, USB, SD and PCIe is a plus 

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills 

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications 

• Strong team player who can collaborate with colleagues
