Job Description
We are looking for an ambitious and energetic Regional Sales Manager to help us expand and develop our business. You will be the front of the company and will have the dedication to create and apply an effective sales strategy. The goal is to drive sustainable business growth through boosting sales and forging strong relationships with clients.
As a Regional Sales Manager, you should use your creativity and thorough knowledge of sales processes to provide innovative ideas for business growth. Communication and team management skills are also essential for this position.
To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience managing distribution in both Channel and Retail sector while taking accountability for expanding client’s depth and breadth to reach targets. You should also be able to ensure your area of responsibility meets and exceeds the expectations of our business objectives and contributes to our company’s success in the long run. Key Responsibilities
- Achieve the quarterly sales targets. Work closely with Distributors, assigning them with quarterly targets
- Designing and implementing a strategic sales plan to build our business in the Channel and Retail sector
- The ability to redefine the distribution structure landscape, vetting current distributor and shortlist new potential distributors.
- Build strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts
- Prepare and review the quarterly sales plan and budget for the country
- Analyze market trends and discover new opportunities for growth
- Address potential problems and suggest prompt solutions
- Develop sub-distribution network for our channel business through identifying key wholesalers/retailers
- Manage and grow the retail business in the designated areas
- Work closely with our marketing team to identify opportunities, plan for these opportunities, and execute it within the quarter
- Monitor and manage sales against targets by tracking all recorded sales and activity schedules
- Work closely with Distributors, and manage:
- Pricing
- Stock Distribution
- Orders and Forecast
- Payments.
- Work with and through other departments within the company to ensure that all sales activities meet/satisfy all business and/or legal requirements
Qualifications
- Proven work experience as a Regional Sales Manager or similar Senior sales role
- Bachelor’s Degree in business or equivalent experience
- Solid customer service attitude with excellent negotiation skills
- Analytical skills with a problem-solving attitude
- Strong business development skills
- Knowledge in retail and on-line channel sales. In addition, experience in the IT industry with knowledge of SI / VAR’s vendors and surveillance channel
- Interact and communicate effectively with employees, vendors, contractors, and management on business matters in a business professional manner
- Independent and adaptive team player
- Candidate will be self-motivated, driven, customer oriented, resourceful, and enthusiastic
- Ability to handle pressure and diverse issues simultaneously.
- Ability to be able to work independently
- Influence behavior to VP level, internally and in large multi-national accounts
- Excellent customer presentation skills
