BROAD  FUNCTIONS : 

• Meet drive level qualification time line on product launch.
• Product ramp readiness meet PC MPS demand.
• Deliver BIC media.
• Maximize Drive and Media Yield through optimization work.
• Manage sustaining products, SMO inventory, critical evaluations and deviated media inventories.
• Manage product and program related documentation.
• Manage SMO and evaluation shipment logistics.
• Manage multiple same family programs from multiple Sputter tools in mass production and drive continuous product improvement till EOL.

RESPONSIBILITIES 

Regular

• Qualify Program in Time to support Business Plan timeline.
• Ensure enough product information for smooth transfer for qualification build and production ramp.
• Characterize and understand Product margin from the qualification stage of the Program to maximize Sputter Utilization.
• Continue optimization work through out the Program life. Lead the improvement work initiatives with HDD.
• Product evolution : Set up common and proper documentation system to keep track of product evolution through out the program life.
• Characterize and understand acceptable and reject criterion for the program from the initial qualification stage both on Magnetic and Defects.
• Manage internal program and product related documentation. 
• Manage HDD product related documentation.
• Shipment tracking and documentation.

Academic Qualification :        

• Degree in Science or Engineering field.

Experience and Skills Required :

•  Minimum 5 to 7 years experience in process oriented manufacturing environment as Process, Product or Manufacturing Engineer.
• Minimum 2 to 3 years in Hard Disk or Hard Disk Component related Manufacturing or Testing.
