Job Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Purchase Requisition management through coordination 
  • PO Management: Creation and tracking
  • Executes Delivery Management to ensure the timely arrival of items
  • Escalation of Delivery issues for immediate resolution
  • Acts to immediately resolve issues on Goods Received and discrepancy issues with stakeholders.
  • Facilitate Voice of Customer Meetings with End-users to confirm requirements and other plans that may impact purchasing requirements
  • Perform the work as been assigned.

Qualifications

REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor's degree in any field
  • At least 6 years in procurement or supply chain
  • Able to handle the report 

PREFERRED: 

  • Understand the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and Quality Management Systems
  • Any procurement or supply chain certification is preferred
  • Knowledge of Supply Chain and Logistics
  • Good command of spoken and written Japanese
  • High integrity
  • Familiar with life in Japan and up-to-date of Japan in general; for the benefit of sourcing
