Technical Leader – Automated Firmware Validation Labs Management

• In this position, you will bring-up and operate the firmware validation labs, for automated validation of Western Digital’s next-generation SSD (Solid State Drive) products.
• Technical leader for a team of 4 PC technicians.
• Operate various automation systems
• Manage hundreds of PC setups, thousands of virtual machines, and PCIe/NVMe test equipment.
• Manage the budget and procurement for all lab equipment
• Setup PC environment for firmware engineers
• Detect and solve hardware and software issues
• Define requirements for automation tools
• Be an integral part of the SSD firmware organization

• Relevant technical background with preference for experience in IT or QA – 2 years
• Managerial experience in technical environment – 1 year
• Hands-on experience with automation tools and validation processes
• Experience with bug tacking systems, such as Jira
• Excellent inter-personal skills
• Good English
