ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Participate in software design, coding, debugging, validating and test review process
• Performs technical support activities related to backend tester and automation software with engineering approaches to effectively respond to each work request in term of productivity improvement, quality and cost.
• To involve in project and provide engineering support leading to solution (new tester / automation development support) which may include travel for the selected project participants.
• Performs failure analysis on tester related failure with solution proposal
• Perform multiple tasks/assignments on a project/program basis.
• Works independently under minimum supervision
• May assist in leading and/or participate cross functional teams
• Be a mentor for colleagues and help promote knowledge-sharing
• Perform other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering/Computer Science/Electrical/Electronic and other related fields.
• Minimum 4 - 10 years of recent experience working as Test Engineering or related fields.
• Knowledge and analytical skill in C/C++ programming language is a must
• Good in English communication and writing

PREFERRED: 

• Advanced C++ / C++ MFC
• Must: Advanced C# .NET framework console app (.dll)
• Must: Advanced/Intermediate Python
• Basic hardware skill (Electrical skills i.e. PLC, Ladder reading skills,  stepper motor driver control skills)
• Basic Arduino firmware read/write Atmel microcontroller board 
• Basic Linux command (Install, configure, maintain, troubleshoot)
• Basic HTML / JS / CSS
• Basic computer network architecture /automation communication protocol design (focus on MODBUS/TCP, PROFINET, SCADA, MC Protocol and Socket TCP/IP)
• Basic robot script SPEL+ (multi-tasking robot language). Joint and movement Scara robot control

SKILLS:

• Negotiation skills with others department (IT, IE, Safety, MFG, Vendors negotiation)
• Effectively present information, ideas, perspective to peers, team members, and managers and respond to questions. 
• Read, analyze, and interpret documents such as technical reports, instructions, and procedures
• Write technical reports and documentation with clear, concise information in English
• Work, collaborate, and communicate effectively in team environment to achieve common goals and results, contributing to effectiveness of the team
• Develop and maintain good working relationships with internal and external co-workers.
• Self-motivated with the ability to effectively multi-task and work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team environment
• Ability to make clear, logical decisions based on facts, taking into consideration the big picture, long and short term effects, and exercising sound judgment when handling complaints, confidential and sensitive issues
• Demonstrated ability to deliver consistent positive results through influencing, coordinating and managing the efforts of others
