Firmware Validation Manager

Experienced leader to lead Firmware and Product level testing and quality assurance of enterprise Hard Drive products. Establish, enhance test and validation processes, plan and oversee quality assurance deliverables, mentor and develop people, manage lab operations, adapt data driven strategies, collaborate with functional teams across multiple global locations.

This individual needs to be skilled in strategic planning, agile execution, ability to adapt to changes, good technical ability to understand  product functions, firmware and test environments to provide directions and drive decisions.

- 12+ years of experience in firmware validation - Hands-on experience in architecting & implementation of white box/grey/Black box Tests and Validation. 

- Proven track record of leading a team in a cross functional environment

- Excellent interpersonal skills, spoken and written communication skills

- Critical thinker with problem-solving skills with attention to detail

- Experienced with working in a dynamic and fast environment and have the ability to deliver consistently high-quality results

- Software engineering and disciplines in design, development, test, source-code management, and CI/CD practices.

- Experience in Test/Validation of complex software/firmware systems, hardware products

- Expertise in SAS/SATA based HDD/SSD validation focussed on metric driven validation, process definition, efficiency improvements. Hand-on experience in Agile  project management are preferred.

- Demonstrates an inclusive leadership style with an emphasis on results and developing high performing team members

- Proven track record of influencing, leading and facilitating large scale strategic initiatives with multiple senior stakeholders

- Excellent communication, interpersonal and collaborative skills (including presentation skills) across levels, with an ability to persuade and influence, and the ability to build enthusiasm and commitment

- Goal-oriented, proactive, accountable and passionate about driving results

- Strong people management skills

- An agile and continuous learner with personal resilience and an ability to deal with ambiguity
