As a senior member of strategic cost management team, you will closely work with Global Commodity Manager team, Procurement Executives and other related functions to analyze direct component Should Cost, identify the major cost driver & improvement opportunities and support insight information aiding for cost negotiation with the supplier. Furthermore, you will support the cost analysis and cost reporting information to finance and corporate. Your works to provide insight of cost analysis and report is essential to drive WD business successful.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work with department director to coach small but effective team of Strategic Cost Management on procurement cost reporting, Executive cost reporting etc
• Drive collaborative work with GCM, Finance & Procurement Executives
• Support Should Cost model calculation using Cleansheet
• Use Cleansheet tool to support cost estimation of NPI product
• Provide insight information of supplier & component cost to support commodity manager in negotiation based on Should Cost Study
• Manage coverage ratio of Should Cost spend over total spend
• Set up and implement business process under Strategic Cost Management organization
• Work with global commodity manager to manage cost management report to drive strategic quarterly cost saving target
• Part of team to drive procurement digitalization efforts

REQUIRED:

• Minimum bachelor’s degree in related field e.g. Engineering, Sciences, Economics or Business Administration. MBA is a plus
• Work in manufacturing environment or thorough understanding of manufacturing context
• Minimum 8- 10 years of working experience under Procurement or Costing with few years hand-on experience on working with massive data analysis
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, and PowerPoint, with working knowledge of cost analysis
• Data enthusiastic and critical thinking
• Systematic and process and result oriented 
• Fluent English is a must

PREFERRED:

• Working experience with Procurement, Sourcing or Product Cost team under MNC environment
• Automotive, Electronics or Semiconductor background
• Understand Should Cost tool or Cost Estimation concept
• Basic data science knowledge or database skillset
• Good and effective written and oral communication

SKILLS:

• Deal with massing data calculation
• Able to extract, transform & load data for analysis using basic tool such as Excel, PowerQuery or advance skill like Python
• Work with Data Visualization tool like Oracle DV, Tableau or PowerBI
• Excellent in presentation and be able to convey complex problem statements and solutions to audience
• Team player and be able to work with multicultural matrix organization
