Job Description

As the Sr. Engineer -Product Design Engineering(HDD) , you will design and be assigned programs for the purpose of Failure Analysis . You will support the Post failure analysis of Hard Disk Drive that failed from reliability and quality functional test, guide for the quality improvement.  You would be directly responsible for quality & Reliability   failure analysis   to ensure Western Digital’s product are good quality for customer. 
 
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • HDD (Hard Disk Drive) Reliability and quality test Failure analysis (FA).
  • Work with respect functional team (Servo, MEC, Channel, etc) to fix the issue.
  • Guide for the improvement to reduce the reliability and OQA failure.
  • Support factory performance weekly report.
  • Control and deploy quality test software.
  • Perform other duties as direct supervisor assigned.

Qualifications

REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Software Engineering, and other related fields. 
  • Minimum 2-5 years of experience as Product Engineer, Failure analysis Engineer, and other related fields in Electronics industry and other related industries.

PREFERRED:

  • Knowledge in HDD technology will take into consideration as special.
  • Certificate in Wellness

SKILLS:

  • Good written and oral communication in English
  • Interpersonal and relational skills, with the ability to quickly develop relationships of trust and confidence with a variety of people and personalities at all levels within an organization
