ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Obtain customer-specific product requirements, assess and recommend engineering solutions, and drive execution to meet customer requirements in a timely manner.
• Define and drive product recipe ramp and depletion strategy to meet overall customer and WD business needs.
• Accountable as the focal point of overall product cost for sustaining products with finance collaboration to define optimized product cost strategy and drive execution.
• Collaborate with KPI owners to align and rationalize roadmaps ensuring consistent product strategy and execution.
• Monitor overall engineering KPI performance and support KPI owners to address gaps vs plan.
• Collaborate with the Quality team to define and prioritize the appropriate product improvement strategy.
• Monitor overall quality KPI performance and support functional teams to address gaps vs. plan.
• In event of excursions (Quality or otherwise), execute SSO process and the lead core team to define containment, disposition, root cause and drive corrective actions that meet optimized business objectives.

REQUIRED:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering or related field.
• At least 10 years in management level and 3 years experience in HDD Manufacturing.
• Previous experience as an Engineering Program Manager / Product Engineering
• Fluent in English communication.
