Job Description

A summer holiday intern at Western Digital's software research department. The position will be working with open source secure embedded Operating Systems (OS) running on RISC-V. All of the work will be on open source projects, allowing the developer to contribute their code publicly.

There are a range of different projects available, written in either C or Rust. The person can either focus on improvements to Tock (github.com/tock/tock) or can improve QEMU models used for testing and developing Tock.

The position will be fully remote, with someone locally in Brisbane to provide assistance.

    Qualifications

    We are looking for someone with:

    • Embedded systems interest, some experience benefical
    • Interest in secure operating environments
    • Open source interest
