Job Description

The Compliance Senior Manager will assist in the administration of the anti-bribery & corruption program. Attention to detail, sound judgment, and a team-mindset are critical to the role. Cross-functional coordination and collaboration with colleagues throughout the world and a can-do mindset will be essential.

Specific duties include:

Due Diligence

  • Conduct, review, and escalate in-depth third-party research using public records, commercial databases, and online resources
  • Identify high-risk business partners and perform deep dive reviews
  • Process due diligence findings in relevant company systems
  • Track completion of third-party management milestones, including training and due diligence refreshes

 Compliance Disclosures

  • Review and approve business courtesies (i.e., gifts, hospitality) requests
  • Assist Global Giving & Doing (i.e., corporate philanthropy) with review of sponsorship/donation requests
  • Review and manage conflicts of interest disclosures to ensure uncompromised decision-making relating to internal and external stakeholders

Ongoing Monitoring

  • Monitor and review company systems for red flags of corruption, fraud, and compliance risk
  • Track, report, and follow-up on issues of potential non-compliance with company policies
  • Contribute to anti-bribery & corruption program metrics, process enhancements based upon ongoing monitoring findings

 Other special projects and duties as assigned.

  • Assist with preparation and delivery of anti-corruption training

Qualifications

  • B.A. or equivalent degree from an accredited college or university required; law or forensic accounting degree preferred
  • Experience in listed international companies, law firms, due diligence providers, and/or Big 4 audit firms
  • Strong knowledge of Office365, Excel, and Microsoft PowerPoint essential; experience with compliance tools such as Dow Jones/Factiva, Tableau, case management systems, and GRC tools preferred
  • Experience in compliance program management, including KYC, anti-bribery & corruption, due diligence, gifts & hospitality, and conflicts of interest
  • Strong writing and communications skills, including ability to issue spot and condense key information a must
  • Oral and written fluency in English required; fluency in second language preferred
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills with ability to generate timely, high quality work
  • Positive attitude and comfort with operating on deadlines
  • Ability to manage change positively and comfort with technology tools and data analytics
  • Ability to work effectively in a global environment, and experience with diverse cultures
