Job Description

Seeking a self-motivated and pro-active Software Engineer who is ready for challenges, responsibilities and rewards that come with working in a high-tech and fast-paced environment. We design, develop, and deploy variety of cost-effective Tester Equipment solutions for the test and verification of Company's Hard Drive and Solid-State products utilized across the company from development labs to factory production and QA.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable C++ code
  • Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems
  • Create software tools (command line, GUI) to test hardware functionality
  • Collaborating with the software development team on application design and development
  • Use hardware tools to validate software development/diagnostic issues
  • Document/present software development spec and tasks
  • Having fun doing above stuff
     

Qualifications

REQUIRED

  • MS or BS degree in CE, CS, EE or other related disciplines; with 2+ years of related job experience
  • Excellent C/C++ programming skill including Object Oriented Design methodologies
  • Good knowledge of Windows OS and application development for Windows
  • Experience in debugging skills and methodology 

PREFERRED

  • Previous experience of computer interfaces like UART, I2C, SPI, USB, PCIe, SAS and SATA is an excellent plus
  • Experience in application development under Linux 
  • Driver development in Windows/Linux is a strong plus
  • Knowledge of microcontrollers FW development and debug
  • Real-Time OS concepts (Multi-threads, deadlock, semaphores, mutex..) a strong plus
  • Hands-on experience with lab tools like Oscilloscope, Multi-meter, Signal Generator, Trace Analyzer, ...

SKILLS

  • Good verbal and written communication skills, documentation and generating reports using MS Office
  • Teamwork spirit, self-managed with ability to finish the job independently
  • Capability of learning new tools and skills along with the assigned duties
