ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Regular Duties / Responsibilities:
  • Manage failure analysis activities for HDD product yield improvement initiatives
  • Manage / Lead New Product transfer activities, providing Engineering and Failure Analysis direction in Pilot / PCRT builds.
  • Collaborate with WW functional groups (such as Sustaining Program Management team, Servo, Mechanical, RWI, QE, etc) to drive HDD activities for yield improvement, DPPM reduction and Reliability improvement.
• Irregular Duties / Responsibilities:
  • Other duties as assigned.
• Ensure commonality/standardization among same processes/system within related manufacturing sites.

REQUIRED:

• Bachelor degree or higher in Master / Bachelor Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunication or Computer Engineering or relate field
• At least 5 years in engineering field as a lead position (Product Engineering position )

PREFERRED:

• Knowledge in HDD manufacturing and test process, Head & Media design, Project management or related field will be advantage.
• Experienced in Failure Analysis activities , able to manage excursions inclusive of detection, containment, driving for root cause analysis until fixes implementation.
• Experienced in New Product launch, able to manage new product introduction to meet the set quality metrics/goals.
• Scripting capability & data analytic background is a plus.

SKILLS:

• Good in English communication (written/verbal) and presentation skills.
• Work to succeed, attention to details, proactive, strong ownership and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Interpersonal and relational skills to develop a good relationship within the organization and able to convey and deliver the key message in a clear, and concise manner.
