Job Description

PV Integration Engineer is responsible for overall project management for Back End core technology projects including possessing analytical skills, in overseeing that all activities are completed in a timely manner. The job will entail cross-functional work as you will be working with each individual process owner in areas such as Slider, HGA and Test development for PMR and/or HAMR Head Technology.

All projects will be aligned based on the Back End Technology roadmap, wherein all technology on each process is defined based on the Wafer Design and Product Timeline.  The handling of each experimental DOE, Process Validation is done thru a process of

      -  Identifies the right wafer design material in alignment with the project objective

      -  Coordinate the plan and tabulate the sample size for all Component Test requirements

      -  Work with Build Team and Test owners to monitor and formulate the master plan and schedule.

      -  Data consolidation, summary + recommendation/conclusion and perform data analysis (including root cause analysis, as needed)

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Quasi / Dynamic Electrical test Data statistical analysis to support SF, HGA, and Test PMR and HAMR Head Technology.
  • Provide standard and advanced data analysis report including performance, yield, binning, spacing, and root cause analysis with the recommendation and next step.
  • Oversees the progress with the help of the Build team in ensuring that the current plan is aligned with the formulated master plan
  • Coordinate for all test requirement requests, sample size, data checkpoint, and submissions.
  • Recommend wafer material (device, type) for builds (Eval and qualification)
  • Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress thru conference task force, meeting updates, etc.

Qualifications

REQUIRED:

·       Bachelor of Engineering / Science degree, Master is a plus

·       Fresh graduates from their Bachelor's and Master's are welcome, also with 3+ years of experience in the HDD industry. SF, HGA, or Test experience is a plus.

·       Possesses detailed knowledge of data storage and magnetic recording technology is a plus.

·       Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and able to create, write and edit Visual Basic A script is a plus.

 

PREFERRED:

·      Knowledge in statistics techniques and project handling

·      Good English in communication and writing skills - as you will be reporting to a non-Thai Manager

·      Team player and capable to work cross-functional amongst the team here in Thailand and across all countries.

·       Can multi-task on a regular basis and well organize tasks and activities

·       Strong interpersonal skills

 

SKILLS:

·      Well organized on tasks and responsibilities

·      Excellent analytical skills root cause investigation and problem-solving abilities- as you will be using statistical tools such as JMP, VBA

·      Possesses ability to think creatively in order to solve problems
