Job Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Study and analyze current processes, determine their effectiveness, and recommend strategies for improvement
  • Displays good working technical knowledge of his/her job.
  • Assess basic layout and space. 
  • Able to identify problems quickly using basic data gathering procedures and analysis.
  • Conduct time study analysis to establish production standards for departments
  • Provides basic countermeasures and corrective actions to problems.
  • Recommend methods for improving utilization of personnel, material, and utilities.
  • Facilitate effective communication between all relevant stakeholders and ensure that regular updates are completed in a timely manner. 
  • Perform and sustain the daily key input variable and key output of the process.

Qualifications

REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Industrial Engineering or other related fields
  • 0-2 years of experience as Industrial Engineer, Process Engineer and other related fields.

 PREFERRED: 

  • Knows how to perform the time-study
  • Knowledgeable in work sampling 
  • Knowledgeable in Lean concept
  • Proficiency with statistical data analysis tools 

SKILLS:

  • Able to effectively communicate with all levels of employees
  • Can deal effectively with other groups with minimal supervision
  • Can coordinate/communicate with internal members and other groups
  • Result oriented and has a sense of urgency
  • Able to manage projects and multiple tasks.
  • Leadership skills
  • Strong time management
