Job Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • To set the priority of the sample and sending out the result in timely manner including ensuring that the lab result is reliable result with the effective conclusion.
  • Assuring and maintaining the right skill for Analyst Services Lab (AS Lab) personnel including proper training follow the schedule.
  • Ensure the lab instruments maintain in good maintenance, timely calibrate and smooth running.
  • Able to solve the instrument emergency down/problem within timely manner, and know the root cause of the instrument down problem.
  • Coaching AS Lab staff on analytical skills and analysis of the data.
  • Collaborate with other functional teams for unified IDM document.
  • To support all Environmental Occupational Health and Safety policies e.g., EMS, OHSMS, RBA, QMS, IMS.
  • Support and follow WDTH HR rules and regulations.

Qualifications

REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Material Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Material Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 0-5 years experiences as Lab Analyst, Chemical Engineering in Electronics Manufacturing environment or any related field.

PREFERRED: 

  • Basic knowledge of Hard Disk Drive (HDD)

SKILLS:

  • Strong communication skills and fluency in English (writing, listening, and speaking).  
  • Have a good knowledge of various analytical techniques (IC, LPC, SEM/ EDX, FT-IR, GC/MS, etc.) 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools such as PowerPoint, Excel (especially in pivot function), and Word
  • Working in teamwork skills
  • Good Negotiation and Communication skills with Service-minded
  • Flexible and adaptable
