ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• To supervise and provide technical guidance/advice to AS lab technicians and lab operators.
• To perform analytical tests (cleanliness and contamination analysis) using proper procedures/methods with accurate data analysis on piece parts, indirect materials, and samples from the process such as cleaning system.
• To prepare the official lab reports based on the acquired lab results in a timely manner.
• To alert AS lab Manager in case of failure in process and product/materials monitoring parameters immediately.
• To ensure that equipment/instruments in the lab under his/her responsibility are in good working condition with proper frequency of maintenance.
• To establish and maintain good working relationship with WDSJ and WDFJ component team to achieve commonality or standardize in analysis techniques.
• To perform correlation on various test parameters with both customer and supplier labs.
• To represent AS lab Manager and be in charge of the lab when the Manager is out of the office.
• To provide support to AS lab Manager on special issues related to product/materials and process cleanliness.
• To support all 5S, IMS, Environmental Occupational Health and Safety policy.

REQUIRED:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Material Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineer, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Material engineer, Chemical Engineer, Failure Analysis Engineer, or any related position in Electronics Manufacturing environment or related field.

PREFERRED:

• Have a good working knowledge of various analytical techniques (SEM/EDX, FT-IR, GC/MS, etc.)

SKILLS:

• Good English communications (written and spoken)
• Good coordination and working in teamwork skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools such as PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
• Communication skills, and good presentation skill
• Flexible and adaptable, Exhibit humility, Being observant, Service-minded, Harmonization, Empathy
